About Hyre Support Coordination
Hyre Support Coordination is an Australian-owned, Melbourne-based, NDIS-registered provider delivering Support Coordination (Levels 1, 2, and 3, including Specialist Support Coordination) and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching across Greater Melbourne and regional Victoria.
We built Hyre Support Coordination because too many participants were having the same experience: poor communication, unclear guidance, delayed follow-up, and referrals that didn’t always feel independent.
We keep our team deliberately focused so participants know who they’re dealing with, can get responses when they need them, and receive support that is practical, honest, and built around their goals.
What We Believe
Support Coordination should be straightforward.
Participants should understand their plan, know their options, and have someone who actually follows through.
Too often, people tell us their coordinator stopped returning calls, didn’t understand complex plans, or kept recommending providers connected to the same organisation.
We built Hyre Support Coordination to operate differently.
We don’t run group homes, employ support workers, or operate day programs. Our work is focused on NDIS Support Coordination, Specialist Support Coordination, and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching.
That matters because provider recommendations should be based on participant needs, service quality, cultural fit, communication style, availability, and outcomes, not ownership structures or internal referral targets.
When a provider is the right fit, we’ll explain why. Where a relationship exists, we’ll disclose it clearly.
Our Team
Our coordinators come from backgrounds including social work, mental health nursing, occupational therapy, community development, and lived experience of disability.
Across the team, experience includes:
- complex and high-needs NDIS plans
- psychosocial disability support
- mental health and community settings
- service navigation and provider coordination
- crisis, housing, and multi-provider coordination
- recovery-oriented and participant-led practice
All team members hold current NDIS Worker Screening Checks and Working with Children Checks.
Our Specialist Support Coordinators hold allied health qualifications, typically in Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology.
Our Psychosocial Recovery Coaches hold relevant mental health qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Mental Health or Mental Health Peer Work, and are supported by practical experience working alongside people with psychosocial disability.
We also support participants across multiple languages, including Portuguese, Filipino, Italian, Macedonian, Turkish, and English. Where language matters, we’ll do our best to match accordingly.

How We're Structured
Hyre Support Coordination is a privately owned Australian business.
We are connected to organisations operating within the disability sector, including providers delivering services we do not deliver directly, such as supported independent living and personal care.
Where those services are appropriate for a participant, we’ll say so.
If any referral involves an existing relationship, we’ll be transparent about it.
Recommendations are made because they make sense for the participant’s circumstances, goals, location, support needs, and preferences, not because of ownership arrangements.

Our coordinators and Recovery Coaches support participants across Greater Melbourne and regional Victoria.
This includes areas such as:

- surrounding regional locations
We meet participants in person where appropriate, and also provide support through phone and video appointments where that suits communication needs, location, or participant preference.
